Turmeric lattes are being heralded as one of the trendiest, as well as healthiest drinks for 2017. From Artisan coffee shops to sports clubs, this healthy alternative to coffee is fast becoming a hot favourite with consumers.
How is it made?
A Turmeric latte is made from a blend of oat milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, a hint of black pepper to aid with the absorption of turmeric and coconut blossom nectar to add a touch of sweetness to the drink. To accommodate all taste buds you can add vanilla syrup or flavouring, sweetener, cardamon and for the not so faint hearted, chilli flakes for the ultimate spice hit.
Barista Louise Busfield said: “I tried the new turmeric latte. It is an unusual, yet tasty alternative to your everyday coffee.”
The drink can also be made with alternative milk such as, Almond, hemp, rice, coconut and flax milk so suits dairy, gluten and nut intolerant customers.
